“We used Ground Loop with great results to service the geothermal system in our previous home. We moved to a different place with oil heat that went through a $500 tank every 6 weeks this past winter. I contacted Ground Loop to help figure out why, as this was an open-ended task that required an experienced technician. They identified a laundry list of items, including some big ones: A large gap in some hidden ductwork that was dumping much of the air into the crawl space, undersized returns and too many closed registers that cause the burner to overheat and cycle off to cool down, they fixed a clogged condensate drain that would likely leak water to the ceiling below, and that the previous owners made the penny-wise decision to install air conditioning instead of a heat pump, so oil is used for all heating. These defects have been present for decades, and probably cost the previous owners a mint. A $297 investment in their thorough HVAC inspection was well worth it. We will definitely be contacting them when we go geothermal in a year or two.”

“I had Ground Loop install my system a few years back and have used their maintenance program ever since. My ground loop heating and air system runs great and I love how I save over 40% versus my standard system in my previous home. Ground Loop’s employees are always polite and super knowledgeable. I plan on using their winter & summer maintenance program to ensure my system is always working properly.”

We have been customers with Ground Loop since we built our house in 2001. When it was as time to replace the old system, there was no doubt that we would use Groundloop again. Now we have the Water Furnace system, more energy-efficient and trouble-free. We have the semi-annual maintenance service and we are always satisfied with the quality of the technicians’ work and professionalism.

“The system is very inexpensive to run (the other day it never got above 35 and it only cost $3.89 to operate). I am very happy, and could not recommend these folks more highly. If I had to choose again, I would make the same call.”

“From the initial estimate appointment, through the install, and both maintenance visits they were on time or early. They completely cleaned up at the end of each workday. After 18 months of use, I have no complaints and I’m saving approximately 40% per month on my BGE bill. I highly recommend using Ground Loop for your HVAC work.”

“The installation went extremely well. Only one day of digging in the yard to install the ground loops. We had two units installed in the house, one in the basement and one in the attic, which took a bit over two weeks. The Ground Loop team members were extremely knowledgeable about their products. They were very courteous and professional. They arrived on time and cleaned up any messes they made. If you want a geothermal system, Ground Loop is the company to call.”

“The state and federal government subsidies made me start to seriously consider replacing my existing HVAC system. My old system would constantly run in the summertime and the house had difficultly keeping 70 degrees when it was over 90 degrees outside. I had doubts if the engineering would be sufficient because the rule of thumb is 200 feet per ton of cooling and the system is a variable speed 3/4 ton unit. I contacted the east coast representative for WaterFurnace (maker of the HVAC unit) and they assured me that 600′ would be more than sufficient. The outside unit was removed and the new unit is in my basement. It runs so quietly that most people can not even hear it. I can barely hear the unit (less noise than a refrigerator. The unit is designed to constantly run and the house has never been cooler. The unit has not failed me and I am looking forward to the winter to see how well it performs. The air quality has also improved because the unit uses large filters (up to #13 for maximum filtering) that are easy to replace and can be ordered online. The thermostat reminds me of when it’s time to replace the filter (@every three months). Ground Loop did an excellent job in engineering, installation, and maintenance. I had an issue with the thermostat giving an incorrect humidity reading. The technician came out the next day and swapped the unit out – still didn’t fix the problem. He contacted WaterFurnace and manually adjusted the internal sensor to compensate for the problem. I have owned my home since 1993 and this is the first time the HVAC unit has worked properly. Ground Loop sized the unit correctly and installed it in my basement without any problems or concerns. I highly recommend them.”

“We looked into a geothermal heat pump system several months back and Group Loop Heating and Air Conditioning were one of the companies that responded to our queries.

Fast forward to today, and they have just finished up the installation of our new system. These guys were really professional throughout the whole process.

Out of the 4 contractors, we contacted they were the only ones who actually showed up in a timely manner, their bid was on par with the other ones we received but it was their professionalism that really got them our business.

This was a complicated project and there have been a few bumps in the road, but the reason these guys get 5 stars is how they responded to them. Once all of the county paperwork was in these guys came out and cranked out the system installation and their finishing work is really impeccable.

I am super happy with the system and the service I received from Ground Loop and I feel very comfortable recommending them to anybody!”
