Every time I have an issue with my system (which is not often), Ground Loop responds immediately and is out with a technician who is friendly, helpful, professional WITHIN24 hours. They have even come in the evening and responded to texts at night to help me trouble shoot over the phone. THE BEST customer service.

We had a geothermal HVAC system installed by Ground Loop. They explained the many elements to doing this - how the system works, the rebate programs, both Federal and Maryland, and how the install process would go. Everything happened exactly as they said. All pricing was exactly as stated. They were patient, thorough and answered our (many) questions. Very pleased and highly recommend.

We installed geothermal with Ground Loop 9 years ago but at that time, retained an attic heat pump unit for the second floor. Looking ahead, Ground Loop installed additional underground loops in case we should want to convert the attic unit to geothermal in the future. We have been so happy with our main unit (and it so significantly reduced our utility bills) that we finally decided this season to replace the attic heat pump unit with a second geothermal unit--and of course, hired Ground Loop to do the work. Already we are noticing that the new unit is significantly quieter--in fact we hardly hear it--and the temperature in the house is balanced for the first time. Given the tax credits and rebates, we finally decided we could afford the second unit and are already glad we did. Also, the installation crew was very respectful of our home, got very creative to minimize the additional installation requirements, and very neatly installed the new equipment in both attic and basement, to tie in with the loops already in place. We highly recommend Ground Loop and geothermal.

We had the best experience with the Ground Loop Heating and Air Conditioning. After three days without power, our heating system failed to start, it was freezing in our house. We called GLHAC, they sent immediately their technician Wyatt, he came within less than a hour, was very polite and knowledgeable, diagnosed our problem and soon after our heating kicked in. We appreciate this company professionality and the service they provided very much and would like to recommend it to anyone with a need for heating and air conditioning service. Our big thanks goes to Mr. Wyatt!

I had such a good experience with Ground Loop. Our heat stopped working over the weekend and when I called on Sunday, the owner of the company answered and got a technician over to me later that day. They quickly diagnosed the problem, ordered the necessary part, and had it fixed the following day. The customer service is 10/10. I cannot recommend this company enough!

Amazing services all around. Prompt and always friendly

Installed 3 ton horizontal loop WaterFurnace system and could not be happier with the outcome. Ground Loop has helped us realize our long-term plan of making our farm net-zero and I believe we are there: this winter will tell.

The unit has the advantage of being a "set it and forget it" HVAC so I don't have to monkey with programmable or AI thermostats. Even during the cold snap in January, this thing didn't break a sweat, effortlessly keeping the house warm with NO electrical resistive (emergency) heating needed.

My only suggestion is that I hope someday they are able to bring a master electrician on board, in-house. The minor troubles we did encounter can be attributed to difficulties coordinating and communicating with the electrical sub.

Super professional, timely and friendly. My only complaint would be the aggressive tearing up of the lawn, rolling over and burying plants. That being said, I highly recommend

My 3rd geo thermal thermal unit installed as they have been wonderful. Can't say enough good stuff about the ground loop people.

Two superb jobs. First, had furnace that wasn’t putting out enough heat. Diagnosed a leak in the coil and replaced the coil quickly. Second, added a steam humidifier to main furnace handling the electrical, plumbing and thermostat beautifully.

We have been with Ground Loop for 6 years and they maintain our geothermal every year. We are happy with their service, the crew are very professional.

Ground Loop (GL) installed my two geothermal sytems in 4/2015. Of the 3 companies I got a quote from, GL's was the best, and when said and done, appeared to be the right decsion. The systems have been great and GL's service and custumer service have been great.
Only thing the cost of their yearly maintenance contacts have almost doubled. They do perform two yearly comprehensive check ups. Just wished they could do something to lower the yearly cost.

I've had my system since 2008 with no problems. I've always gotten excellent service when they do the periodic maintenance checks.

Groundloop oversaw and installed installation of a geothermal system. Everything went as planned from the drilling of the well to the installation of the heat pump. The Ground Loop staff and workers were professional, prompt, polite and were consistently communicative so we understood every step of the process. Routine maintenance calls were also excellent. Recommend the company highly.

Toby is a master craftsman and as courteous as they come. I am so glad to have this company servicing our geothermal system. Best in the business!

The scheduled rotine service call went very well. The technician (Mark) also rebalanced our registers so that a master bath and closet at the end of the house and over the garage started to get better heat. That was very helpful. I also pointed out that groundwater and silt are leaking into the house at/near the entry of the groundloop through the basement wall. The silt is evident on the wall and across the basement floor to the drain. The water itself is apparent after significant rain. He was going to discuss this with Groundloop management. I have not heard back anything yet.

Groundloop has installed and maintained our heating/cooling system for many years. Their technicians are very knowledgeable and friendly. If you are looking for a geothermal system they are very good and provide great timely service.

Gl installed our system in 2007 and have been actively supporting it. They are responsive and reliable. As the geothermal world grew every HAVC group has claimed that they are the best, but none have the knowledge and experience that GL has

As always with Ground Loop I called about an issue and they were out the Next Day. My technician was Toby who was knowledgable, fixed the problem, and even diagnosed a more serious issue that could have been a problem if left unchecked. This company is on the ball!!

Ground Loop Heating and Air Conditioning has done amazing work with installing the geothermal system at my home (vertical loops). The quality of their installation is optimal. Their attention to customer service has been 2nd to none. They own the complete installation from beginning to end and after the system is operational, their level customer service engagement continues to exceed our expectations. If you're in the DMV and considering using Ground Loop, you definitely have my endorsement.

I had a very difficult experience with ground loop and unfortunately can not recommend them. Although initially the project was going well, they did not fulfill the project as we discussed and did not install the proper equipment for functioning of the internet monitoring symphony system for the water furnace geothermal in our main house and did not setup the symphony system in our secondary structure system. In addition, it was very difficult to schedule work with them and the project took much longer than expected to complete.They only came out to finish the work properly when we withheld their final payment for incomplete work. Then after completing the work I promptly provided the payment only for them to refuse to provide the final rebate documents needed for the tax credits for state and federal and my state renewable energy credits filing in an attempt to extort me for additional money beyond what we agreed for the project. They have also refused to provide appropriate warranty/maintenance services related to their installation which was not cooling properly in the main house just months after installation due to a freon leak as shown in photos attached. Needless to say, this was a horrible experience and although they seem to be skilled professionals I do not view them as honest business people and therefore would recommend to stay away. I myself will not be doing additional business with them.

Very satisfied. The knowledge and professionalism of the geothermal technician was beyond reproach and I am delighted with the outcome. I will use this company again.

He then examined the site, measured the house and presented us the quote. All of our many questions were answered at that time. “Ground Loop, and in particular, Toby and Scott, get 5 stars for finally resolving what had been many years of frustrations regarding my geothermal cooling upstairs. The system installation, and its bi-annual maintenance, had been performed by another company. I had complained for several years about the upstairs cooling not being able to maintain at the thermostat setting during the hot summer days. They offered a variety of ideas, including the installation of a new air handler (an expensive non-fix), none of which improved the cooling. My builder suggested Ground Loop for a second opinion. Toby immediately observed multiple compressor leaks as well as poor pressure readings. Mind you, the system had just been inspected 2 months earlier by the installation/maintenance company. Scott made recommendations and oversaw the work. Finally, my upstairs is maintained at the thermostat setting for the first time in many summers. These guys are professional and knowledgable, and communication has been great! Highly recommend!!”

“Ground Loop to the rescue! We called on a Sunday because our AC unit had locked up. Jason came to our home the next morning at 8am to take a look at our unit and he had us back up and running within 30 minutes! He was professional, knowledgeable and very responsive to our need for AC, with the summer heat and with a severe asthmatic child in the home. We also knew we needed to upgrade our unit, as our home is older and we have baseboard heating units that are quite costly, to run, in the winter months. After speaking with Jason about our concerns and hearing the pros/cons of replacing just the a/c unit or getting a combo unit (A/C & central heat), we decided to purchase a combo unit and are looking forward to more cost-effective electric bills. We are awaiting the delivery/installation of our new combo unit, but the original unit that Jason came to fix has kept us cool since it was fixed!
